It's hard to achieve anything without a little help from your friends.
From the time I started thinking about launching my own business, I was lucky to have people around who encouraged me to go for my dream. I would have never started Beer Paws if someone hadn't said, "Just get some bottle openers in time for this Cinco de Mayo event, and we'll see what happens."
And so, a wild and exciting entrepreneurial ride began.
Two-and-a-half years later, my business is much more than bottle openers for dog collars. In fact, Beer Paws is mostly a bakery. We have 15 (and counting) craft brewery partners, who provide the key ingredient - spent grains - for my bestselling product, Beer Biscuits for Dogs.
Needless to say, the itty bitty oven at Beer Paws HQ is on almost constantly, and that's not enough. Earlier this year, I left my full-time job to focus more on Beer Paws. Now, it's time to make another leap.
A couple of days ago, following more encouragement and generous assistance from my friends and family, Beer Paws launched a crowdfunding campaign. The goal is to raise $30K in 30 Days. All of the money will be put toward expanding my company's production capabilities.
I already have some of the equipment necessary to build a bigger, better Beer Paws kitchen. Your kind contributions will allow me to create a space that will improve efficiency, comfort and grow with my company.
