Beer, where would we be without it? Think about it, you’ve just finished cutting the lawn on a hot summer day and to reward yourself you kick back and crack open an ice cold can of Sprite? Or on night on the town, you belly up to the bar and order a bottle of cold brew coffee? Nothing against those fine beverages, but let’s be honest — they’re no beer.

And where would beer be without the craft brew movement? Now’s the time to celebrate all those brewers out there who give us more to choose from than domestics, instead giving us a wealth of options in new and exciting flavors. It’s Craft Beer Week.

As you’re no doubt aware, at Beer Paws we love the brews. Hoppy, malty, fruity, smoky - it doesn’t matter, we love them all. And we turn those spent grains into treats that your four-legged buddy will enjoy just as much. But it’s no secret we wouldn’t even exist without the help and support of our friends in the brewing business. That’s why when we got the chance to sponsor Lincoln’s Craft Beer Week, we jumped at the opportunity.

See Crystal, our founder, is a native Cornhusker, so sponsoring a celebration like is a perfect fit on so many levels. Running from the 15th to the 21st (everywhere, not just in Nebraska), it’s a great opportunity to promote, advance and celebrate all the fantastic beer makers who not only support Beer Paws, but create products to make our lives more enjoyable.

From special tasting to keg tappings, Craft Beer Week has something for every beer lover. And if you can’t make it to Lincoln, don’t worry. Kansas City, St. Louis, and lots of other places are having their own celebrations.

So get out there. Try new beers. Explore new watering holes. Celebrate everything that makes craft beer amazing. And don’t forget to stop in and say “hi” if you see our tent.
