Adopting a shelter animal means that you are saving the life of a soul who desperately needs a second chance at a loving and caring home. Adopting or fostering a shelter dog or cat brings about instant rewards! Helping Hands Humane Society is making a huge difference in the welfare of homeless animals in Topeka. Their mission statement sums up exactly how much they care about the well-being of each and every animal in need:

Helping Hands Humane Society has a goal to serve not only Topeka and Shawnee County, but to spread their services to the regional area, as well. This shelter has been helping animals for a very long time and has a noble past.
