Winter Rescue Bash Success!
Delicious beer was consumed, dogs were cuddled, and money was raised on December 2nd at Stockyards Brewing Company. There was even a Doggy Kissing Booth so that you could get a Holiday smooch!
Beer Paws was honored to be a part of New Friends Photography & Video's the Third Annual Winter Rescue Bash. The event was hosted at Stockyards Brewing Company and helped raise thousands of dollars for Great Plains SPCA and Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption.
The evening was filled with special beers, raffle drawings, and a lot of Holiday fun to help support the shelter animals.
About the Shelters
Great Plains SPCA has two campuses, one in Independence, Missouri and the other in Merriam, Kansas. This non-profit organization focuses their attention on saving, protecting, and improving the lives of animals. Their mission is to strengthen the relationship between pets and their human companions.
The next charity that we helped raise funds for was Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption. Their ultimate goal is to save the lives of homeless pets. They also focus on improving the image that society has placed on bully breeds. On a daily basis, they work with high kill shelters in Kansas City to help save the “unwanted” animals and bring them into a safe environment.
Both of these organizations appreciate the support of fosters and adopters. Any donations made towards supporting their mission is never taken for granted.
How You Can Help Us Help Them
We had such a great time supporting these incredible shelters during the Winter Rescue Bash that Beer Paws is donating 10% of sales this entire month. Fill up your pup’s stocking with a bag of beer biscuits and a cozy sweater knowing that 10% will be given to two local Kansas City shelters: Great Plains SPCA and Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption.
