I'm Crystal K. Wiebe, and that's one of my dogs Coconut.
Back in 2013, I started Beer Paws as a fun hobby that helped support animal rescue and allowed me to indulge in two passions - loving on dogs and sipping craft beer.
Baking spent grain dog treats and selling them at events soon became my whole life - and I loved it!
Almost 5 years in, Beer Paws is still headquartered primarily at my residence, where commercial ovens hum hot and Coconut is the chief taste tester.
To date, Beer Paws has produced dog treats in partnership with 50+ craft breweries and counting. Of course, there's also the doggy beer and fun swag for pets and people to wear.
Running a small business is the most challenging thing I have ever done.
Some days make me feel like a real dummy! But most days, I am just amazed by what my Alpha Pack and I get done - and how warmly we our received by the dog loving and craft beer communities.
